This is hilarious. I got my sister who doesn't do much of anything but Steeler stats online to join. It has been a lot of fun. She actually chats with me and plays word games!
HAHAHAHA! That's hysterical! My friend Heather wanted me on FB so badly that she created an account for me. I reluctantly dipped my toe in and was hooked in a matter of weeks. There are certainly things that I don't like about it though - for instance, I wish I'd been a little more selective w/ my "friends." I almost un-"friended" half of my "friends" during the pre-election weeks ;-)
I was a facebook snob, myself, eschewing it as stupid... And then I joined it, and had a similar experience to the one you had with Janet below, and am now so thankful for modern technology, and feel kind of silly for being a FB snob in the first place. :)

Same here, Susan! I didn't realize that B.O. was my friend until his picture showed up (twice) in my friend list.
