Bedtime Story

100_8015

Logan's hands-down favorite book is The Bear Under the Stairs. Even when we are not reading the book, he likes to quote it: "William was scared of grizzly bears...He slammed the door quick! Wham. Bang. Thump..."What's that awful smell?!" Logan enjoys the expressions on the bear's face and pointing out what he is doing on each page. The book brings to life a little boy's worst fear, but my little boy reacts to it with delight rather than fear.

I love how intently he's listening! It's so fun how they fall in love with a story and can listen to it endlessly.

I wish we could move to your side of the mountain. :) We are still job-hunting. Hopefully we will have a new one by the end of the year. Thankfully he's secure in his present job for now. Thanks for thinking of us.

This photo is absolutely precious!

I can't believe how fast he is growing up, girl. I remember when you posted about him being born! (I have probably said that 50 times to you already, huh?) :)

I love this pic! How precious!

I had to laugh when I was reading this - just as I was clicking on the link to your site, I stated, "WHAT is that smell?"

Maybe it's the bear under the stairs :D

Stories are powerful things, which is, I guess, one of the reason Our Father uses gave us so many to teach us. What a lovely moment you have captured!
