Firefox Frustration

Normally Mozilla Firefox is my browser of choice for the tools that it offers, but now it has failed me. It no longer displays pictures, and will not open Gmail correctly. I do not know what happened, and I don't know how to fix it. Where is my IT guy when I need one? (I don't even know what IT stands for!)

I did search around on the Mozilla Firefox page until I found some lengthy instructions for a possible solution. I started trying to jump through the troubleshooting hoops, but did not get far. Maybe James can figure it out later, but in the meantime, I am a little cranky.

I'm using Internet Explorer right now which is not improving my mood. Only part of my blog header shows up under the blogger bar in this browser. Now I have to fiddle with my template until I hit upon the reason why. It feels a bit like walking around with one's skirt stuck in one's pantyhose. Not pretty. I don't know how many people have been viewing my blog in this embarassing condition.

I, too, share this frustration with Mozilla, this love-hate relationship. I detest Explorer. Ugh. My dh says there is some simpler version of Mozilla that we need to start using--less bells and whistles, but apparently also less hiccups. I hope you figure it out soon. :)

weird. i use firefox and have no trouble with gmail or blogger. luke says to delete your firefox profile and start over. i don't know what that means but maybe it will help. he said it's probably just that some settings in firefox got messed up. oh, and IT means Information Technology...

yeah, i'd just uninstall it, and then download and install it again.

I did the uninstall, install thing, but it made no difference. We deleted my user profile and started over like Luke said and that worked!

I know you're not going to want to hear this, but I'm on Safari (Mac's browser) and your header doesn't fit when viewed from Safari either.

To figure it out, go your dashboard, click layout, and the html. Check where it has your header width. You may need to add the height of your image into the code. This will set a standard and it should appear correctly in all browsers.

HTH!
